Outdoor General Visitors – Visits with a resident for social reasons - these have to be prescheduled. One general visit per resident per week with up to 2 visitors at a time. Children under the age of two years do not count towards the general visitor maximum. Visitors under the age of 14 years have to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Designated caregivers can also be present during the general visits. The designated outdoor visiting area is in the Courtyard. Length of visit: 30 Minutes.
General visitors do not require a rapid antigen test at this time as their visits will be held outdoors only. Masks and physical distancing are still required for general visitors regardless of immunization status. In case of inclement weather (heat alert/warning, rain, etc) outdoor visits will be cancelled and a notice will be posted on our website under Latest News. Please check the website for such updates prior to each visit. There are many designated general visit spots available during the following times: 10:15am-10:45am, 11:15am-11:45am, 3:15pm-3:45pm, 4:00pm-4:30pm, 4:45pm-5:15pm, 6:15pm-6:45pm, 7:00-7:30pm.
During an outbreak, and or a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19, the local public health unit will provide direction on visitors to the home, depending on the specific situation.
Requests will be received anytime however they will only be processed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday’s.
All visitors shall follow all applicable infection prevention and control precautions that are in place at the home.
